Ingredients:
8 RedBird Farms Frenched Chicken Drumsticks
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons sriracha (adjust for desired heat level)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Julienned carrots and bell peppers (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Pat the drumsticks dry and rub them with olive oil. Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
Meanwhile, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Bring to a gentle boil.
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer until the glaze thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Remove the drumsticks from the oven and brush them generously with the prepared glaze. Return to the oven and roast for an additional 5-10 minutes, allowing the glaze to caramelize.
Remove from the oven and let the drumsticks rest for 5 minutes. Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and green onions.
Optional: Garnish with julienned carrots and bell peppers for added color and freshness.
