Smoky Barbecue Frenched Drumsticks

Embrace the essence of outdoor cooking with these grilled drumsticks, basted in a smoky barbecue sauce. The grilling process imparts a charred flavor that complements the rich, tangy sauce, making it a barbecue favorite.


Ingredients:

  • 8 RedBird Farms Frenched Chicken Drumsticks

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce with smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Season the drumsticks with salt and black pepper.

  4. Place the drumsticks on the grill and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning every 5 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  5. During the last 10 minutes of grilling, baste the drumsticks with the barbecue sauce mixture, allowing it to caramelize.

  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
