Air Fried Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb RedBird Farms chicken tenders

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 fresh lemon (half for juice, half sliced for garnish)

  • Olive oil spray or cooking spray

Method

1. Prepare breading station:

  • Bowl 1: All-purpose flour

  • Bowl 2: Eggs, whisked with juice from half a lemon

  • Bowl 3: Combine panko, Parmesan cheese (optional), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

2. Bread chicken tenders:

  • Coat each chicken tender in flour (shake off excess).

  • Dip into lemon-egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.

  • Coat thoroughly with breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

3. Preheat air fryer:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.

4. Cook chicken tenders:

  • Lightly spray air fryer basket.

  • Arrange tenders in a single layer, without overcrowding (cook in batches if needed).

  • Spray tops of tenders lightly with cooking spray.

  • Air fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and crispy.

5. Finish with lemon:

  • Once cooked, squeeze additional fresh lemon juice over hot chicken tenders (optional but delicious!).

  • Garnish with lemon slices.

Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy the refreshing, citrusy twist!
