Air Fried Chicken Tenders
Ingredients:
1 lb RedBird Farms chicken tenders
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 fresh lemon (half for juice, half sliced for garnish)
Olive oil spray or cooking spray
Method
1. Prepare breading station:
Bowl 1: All-purpose flour
Bowl 2: Eggs, whisked with juice from half a lemon
Bowl 3: Combine panko, Parmesan cheese (optional), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Bread chicken tenders:
Coat each chicken tender in flour (shake off excess).
Dip into lemon-egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
Coat thoroughly with breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
3. Preheat air fryer:
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
4. Cook chicken tenders:
Lightly spray air fryer basket.
Arrange tenders in a single layer, without overcrowding (cook in batches if needed).
Spray tops of tenders lightly with cooking spray.
Air fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and crispy.
5. Finish with lemon:
Once cooked, squeeze additional fresh lemon juice over hot chicken tenders (optional but delicious!).
Garnish with lemon slices.
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy the refreshing, citrusy twist!
